Sun salutations
Nothing like some sun salutations to make your body feel good.
I (re)discovered that I need to pull my shoulders away from my ears in downward facing dog. That’s a bad habit.
I also rediscovered what a treat it is to practice at home. There’s so much more focus. I wonder if that means I am distracted by the other students in class. Able to really challenge myself to get deep into the movements.
I think this might become a habit. At least, I hope it does. I was reluctant to practice at home because of the time involved. But sun salutes take about 10 minutes. That’s pretty good. And they limber you up pretty well, too.
