Accomplishments and new challenges in yoga

I forgot to write about my yoga class last night. I think it confirms my hypothesis: that working out the day before limbers me up for yoga.

I was very limber and my jumpthroughs and jumpbacks are getting more graceful and consistent.

Revolved triangle and revolved side angle now see me putting my entire palm on the floor, instead of just my fingertips. What an accomplishment!

Headstand is still a little wobbly. I can find vertical for a bit, but gradually drift out of it. I’d like some help knowing when I am totally upright.

I need to start focusing on bhujapidasana. I cannot touch my head to the floor, nor can I jump out of it. But I do it so rarely (once every yoga class) that I might have to practice it separately to get better. I am very bad at the arm balances. I have small arms and small hands compared to my body size. I’ve always had trouble with the strength required to hold myself up and balance. As I practice bhujapidasana, I might have to come up with more exercises to do outside of yoga. It should be fun.
