Transcendent thinking
I’ve been reprogramming myself a bit recently.
My last reprogramming session was inspired by a little bit of Zen thinking. One aspect I see all the time in descriptions of Zen thinking is to be aware of the frame of the conversation, and to sometimes jump to another frame.
So I decided to experiment with building in some more “be aware of the frame” type thinking.
I started by hypnotizing myself. Then I thought of times when staying aware of the frame would be really useful.
But, you know, this is something I’m already pretty good at, and I really couldn’t find places where it would be more useful. So I don’t have much hope that this will help a lot. I’m glad I did it and checked it off my list.
