I had a very difficult meditation session today. I’m very distracted. It could be that I haven’t been meditating regularly. I just could not stay concentrated for more than a few seconds before wandering off on some thought or another. I feel like I have a lot of stuff to process. But also that I could not properly relax my mind.

I’m thinking that the Dance of Shiva really propelled my meditation, particularly my concentration, abilities. I will have to start doing that regularly again.

I also realized (again) that I do like writing here after each session. It keeps me honest. I guess that’s the cliche to use.

Even after a difficult session, the world does look different. There are lots of sounds coming from all around my apartment. Things have a much deeper reality to them. The present is less filtered.
