A return to shiva nata

I realized that I did not write a journal entry for today’s practice, so I’m writing this a bit after. I did Level 1 fast from the video and wow, I was flailing a lot. I didn’t ge tto squares because I could barely keep up with vertical arms with regular leg sequences.

It felt good to start up again. I had not done it with the video is such a long time. I had occasionally done it on my own (with many insights) but the video requires you to keep pace. When I do it alone, I will slow down to get it right.

I found a new shivanaut blog, which makes me happy. I’ll follow it, because I think I need more internet friends. I have been on the internet a long time, but I’ve never been terribly social on it. This blog will change that. I want to find other people like me around the world.

That’s really what the blog is about. It’s a way for my friends and family to keep up with me on my travels. But it’s also a way to connect with more and more people on a real level. A network of people can accomplish anything. And I’d like to bring a little more self-sufficiency and mindfulness to the world.

Yes, thanks! I’m getting back into twitter, too. And I’m following you and lots of others.

I started back in May, plus I really think that Kung Fu helped. Easy to follow someone’s movements like a mirror. But not when it’s really fast. That’s where I need to be.
